Founded by Daniel Barriga in 2021, Parking Hero is an innovative software company based out of Long Beach, Ca.

With a passion for his community and a vision for creating impactful solutions to “some of the many parking problems that Long Beacheans deal with everyday”, Daniel embarked on this entrepreneurial journey with the singular goal of preventing as many parking tickets as humanly possible.

the catalyst came in the months of June - December 2020, at the brink of covid, the city of Long Beach had issued more than $23,000,000 dollars in fines!! things had gotten out of hand and something needed to be done… parking hero is that ‘something’.

We strive to make the safest and most reliable incident alert systems that prove helpful in each of our customer’s time of need. With a customer-centric approach, we are committed to delivering superior software products that address the evolving needs of today's fast-paced digital landscape.

Founder's Vision

From the inception of parking hero, Daniel envisioned a world '“where the damn street sweeper just went around parked cars and no one got tickets”… but, that’s not reality. The reality is that what started as a deterrent to illegal parking is now a cash cow for cities everywhere— and a total bummer for most of the residents in Long Beach and cities throughout the country… so it is not a shocker that in order for the rampant ticketing to change it is has to be the community that changes… so we’ve created this app as a way to ask the world a simple question:

would people use a free app that alerts users of a problem with their property?
